- Wage: $65,000 to $76,000 per year (plus super) dependant on experience and skill level.

Position overview:
We are looking for a highly energetic and keen-to-learn communicator who has demonstrable skills in copy writing and online publishing. Previous experience working in the Australian media environment or in a copywriting position required. The role would be ideally suited to an individual looking for opportunities beyond the Australian media industry who is keen to work in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Key aspects of the role will involve:
- Writing, drafting and designing fundraising emails and content for web pages, landing pages, donate forms, social media ads, and eDMs
- Using the NationBuilder CRM platform to write, design, format and send mass-emails to supporters about the Foundation's campaigns
- Using Photoshop and Adobe Suite to design day-to-day graphics to accompany written copy for online publications
- Writing, designing and managing social media content- Creating and designing online ads and content to target key audiences in collaboration with creative agencies
- Liaising with web developers and creative agencies to design webpages and landing pages
- Liaising with web developers and creative agencies to problem solve website bugs and technical issues
- Maintaining and editing website news and blog pages in collaboration with op-ed writers
- Working with a creative designer to implement the organisation's style guide in letters and publications
- Keeping abreast of the latest campaign news and relaying it to the appropriate staff and individuals
- Attending campaign events around NSW
Required skills (must be demonstrated through previous experience):
- Minimum of two years working in the Australian media or communications industry
- Ability to write copy to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eye for detail and communicating complex ideas simply
- Deep interest in developing new skills and talents
- High level of computer and technical skills including with Microsoft Office365 and cloud-based systems such as Google Drive
- High level of social media and website/online publishing skills
- Ability to work within a very close-knit team
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of consultants

Desirable skills:
- Experience using Photoshop, Premiere Pro and InDesign (or equivalent photo/video editing software)
- Experience using NationBuilder or CRM online environment
- Previous experience working with demographics or market segmentation
- Understand the Facebook advertising platform, including different types of advertising campaigns and audience selections
- Previous experience in videography, photography and drone flying
- Understanding of the Australian media landscape
- Interest in the outdoors
- Hold an Australian drivers licence
