The Colman Education Foundation is seeking two amazing people to join the Our Place team, as a Community Facilitators at Our Place Doveton – Doveton College.

Our Place is an initiative of the Colman Education Foundation, working in partnership with the Victorian Department of Education & Training at 10 state school sites across Victoria. We believe that making local schools the hub of a whole community is one of the best ways to enable long lasting change in communities. We facilitate the partnerships and system changes that are needed to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

As a Community Facilitator, you will be at the front-line for implementation of the Our Place approach, working on-site with the local community, partner organisations, and stakeholders. Your role will be focused on building relationships and facilitating opportunities and delivery of services to support the families and children at Our Place Doveton site, starting in Term 1, 2022. It is an exciting time to join our work as Doveton College celebrates a significant milestone and enters a phase of renewal for the next 10 years.

You will work as part of a small Our Place team in Doveton with regular opportunities to connect with and learn from the wider Our Place team across the state. We provide a flexible, learning-orientated environment and actively welcome new team members from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from migrant and refugee backgrounds and people with disability.
