About the Role
Co-Ground is currently looking for a Mobile Events Manager who will be the key person travelling to various sites around Melbourne and beyond to provide amazing coffee (and sometimes bar services) to a wide range of customers. This role has a lot of variety, and is set to grow alongside our broader operations.
We're happy to be flexible with hours and work with you on how you'd like to be involved with Co-Ground. We run two cafes and have multiple in-office coffee carts as well if you're someone who enjoys variety in their job.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience managing or supervising a team in a hospitality environment.
- Barista experience in a busy setting. Specialty coffee experience a big plus. Confidence with troubleshooting equipment problems is also high on our list.
- Be able to work efficiently and take initiative
- Possess great verbal and written communication skills
- Unrestricted working rights for Australia
- Have, or can obtain, a Working With Children's Check & Police Check
- Have, or can obtain, a RSA
- Have a full Australian Driver's licence and are comfortable driving a van
Tasks & responsibilities
- Plan event logistics and staffing
- Liaise with clients to deliver an excellent experience for them and their guests.
- Participate in service delivery, coordinate and supervise team members on site.
- Motivate your team to deliver an amazing experience.
- Communicate Co-Ground's social enterprise message to clients and staff
- Manage and participate in event equipment transport, setup, and storage.
- Ability to participate in regular lifting and carrying
