CoAct's Partner MS Queensland is searching for an Employment Services Manager to join their team.
MS Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialised services to benefit people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other progressive neurological conditions. What would I be doing...
The Employment Service Manager will lead and develop a state-wide employment support team as part of the Disability Employment Services (DES) government contract, ensuring the provision of high-quality, customer focused and innovative service delivery across Queensland for people with MS and Other Neurological Conditions (ONC’s)
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity.
Duties include:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key partners, stakeholder, employers, and clients that create sustainable employment opportunities and outcomes for program participants
- Provide strong leadership and management to the team through advanced leadership and communication skills to align outcomes of the team and achieve results
- Drive customer acquisition activities that attract job seekers, realising a continuous pipeline of program participants from a variety of referral channels
- Seek, cultivate, and retain strategic alliances and major accounts with prospective employers that identify new and ongoing employment opportunities and provide scope for leveraging further relationships
- Maintain relationships with Department of Human Services stakeholders through attending meetings, conducting monitoring visits, contract management and providing advice on localised provider initiatives
- Drive and lead regional performance, quality, and financial viability by ensuring key performance and compliance objectives are pursued and met each month
- Monitor customer satisfaction feedback and act promptly and effectively to improve customer experiences and perceptions
- Own revenue and expenditure budgets including tight fiscal control of expenses, able to forecast revenue and drive performance to meet budget specifications
What will I bring...
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or minimum of 5 years in a similar role with experience within the Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation, or Community Services or a similar type of sector is highly desirable
- Proven capability in leading a service and team of 20+ people, driving performance, and meeting outcomes and targets, preferably in the Employment Services industry
- Demonstrated experience in a senior business management position ($3-5Mil revenue) and able to complete business planning, service delivery evolution, identify growth opportunities and required change processes
- Extensive knowledge and application of Disability Employment Services (DES) contract Deed and guidelines or experience working within a strict compliance framework
- Articulates value propositions to various audiences with confidence and anticipates their questions and needs.
