Do you have experience working or training within the hospitality industry? This role is well suited to an individual who is willing to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals.
Due to renewed funding under the Queensland Governments Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, we have an exciting position available for a Hospitality Trainer to provide day-to-day support to ten trainees undertaking their Certificate 1 in Hospitality over a 26 week period.
You’ll have access to a full commercial kitchen and conference room area, and a number of community based catering opportunities for your trainees to showcase their new skills.
Helping your trainees gain work after they complete their training is also important. You’ll need to guide your trainees to work with relevant Chinchilla Community Centre specialists to formulate strategies to overcome/manage barriers to employment.
After the 26 week period has completed and your trainees have graduated, another position may become available to the right candidate.
Chinchilla Community Centre is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation delivering community services to Chinchilla and districts for 40 years. Our purpose is to provide support to, and advocate for, members of our community, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. We foster connection and inclusion, and are committed to improving opportunity and wellbeing within our community.
If you are excited about the prospect of joining a great team with a modern culture and desire to provide excellence in the industry, we encourage you to click 'Apply Now' and submit your application.
