Operations Specialist - Electric Vehicle charging

Chargefox

About Chargefox

We’re Australia’s largest and fastest growing electric vehicle (EV) charging network, we’re Australian owned and operated, and we’re committed to making charging simple, affordable, and fast for all Aussies because simpler charging means more EVs on the road, and that’s a very good thing. We’re on a mission to get 100% of road transport to be powered by renewable energy.

We launched in 2017, and since then have managed more than 500,000 charging sessions on over 2,500 plugs across Australia and New Zealand. Across those sessions, we’ve dispensed over 5GWh of electricity, which is enough electricity to power the average household for decades.

In addition to public charging, Chargefox offers services for apartment charging, electric vehicle fleet management and demand management.

Why it’s good

  • You’ll resolve customers enquiries end-to-end and so you will have a real impact on the satisfaction of our customers and the EV driver experience.
  • No two days will be the same as you’ll support all our products for EV drivers, Car Manufacturers and Fleets, and you’ll have the opportunity to get a deep understanding of our business.
  • You’ll be working for a well-established, well-funded and growing start-up that can affect change in the real world.

  • Provide training to the Operations team and our contact centre who receive calls from EV drivers.
  • Perform administration tasks as required in support of business operations.
  • Respond internally and externally to detailed product and service questions.

  • Ability to solve problems through the analysis of customer and technical data.
  • Experience in invoice management, such as invoice creation, review and reconciling data.
  • To enjoy championing better ways of doing things and embrace change.

And here are some things that will make you stand out from the crowd:

  • A genuine interest in sustainable energy and the electric vehicle industry.
  • Experience in the EV or energy industry.
