CatholicCare NT is a not-for-profit organisation, providing social services and programs to individuals, couples, families, children, groups, schools and agencies across the Northern Territory.
The National Aged Care Advocacy Program (NACAP) is free, independent and confidential. The aim of the service is to facilitate advocacy support and information, outreach and education, community development and support to consumers or potential consumers of Australian Government subsidised Aged Care services, their representatives, and their families in Tennant Creek.
As a Case Worker you will be responsible for providing Advocacy support and information, outreach and education to participants and aged care providers in order for the program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus the rights of the elderly, that they are involved in decisions affecting their lives, and that they can self-advocate for their needs in a residential care or home care setting.
