Caringa Australia Ltd’s (Caringa) mission is to support and empower people with a disability. Our head office is located in Grafton NSW and we service all areas throughout the Clarence Valley and Coffs Harbour. The CEO role will be based in Grafton NSW but will be required to travel to other locations at times.

The CEO job responsibilities will include:

• Creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling Caringa’s mission, vision and values.
• Operational management of all business departments.
• Working closely with the executive and leadership teams to effectively manage the business.
• Develop business continuity and growth prospects.
• Overseeing financial performance and risk profile while ensuring that all of the regulatory obligations are met.
• Representing Caringa in the community and at industry training and events.
• Focus on the development and participation of Caringas strategic plan.
• Monitor Caringa’s performance by measuring and analysing results and initiating corrective actions where required.
• Effectively manages continuing compliance for Caringa and working with the relevant staff to ensure this continues.

The CEO should possess the following qualifications/skills:

• Understanding of legislation, guidelines and regulations relevant to the services that Caringa provides
• Knowledge of the NDIS
• Experience working with people with disability
• Experience in governance and working with Boards and committees
• Ability to be a strategic thinker and possess strong analytical skills
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• NDIS Worker Clearance Check Clearance
• Working With Children Check Clearance (WWCC)
