CareFlight was founded in 1986 as an aeromedical charity with the mission to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community. Today, we deliver services nationally. Our critical care doctors, paramedics and nurses are specially trained in emergency and trauma, pre-hospital and remote medicine and we use helicopters, jet aircraft, turbo-prop planes and road vehicles to reach and treat patients wherever they are.

We run accredited training for clinical specialists; operate extensive aviation and logistic training for our employees and other organisations; run a range of free education and training programs in regional, rural and remote areas, and partner with emergency service organisations, defence forces and businesses to deliver our expertise.

The role

This role will be required to manage a portfolio of sponsorship and supporter accounts and projects, involving both operational execution and strategic decision making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly reporting of corporate and business partnerships.
  • Develop and execute an annual activation and implementation plan for CareFlight partnerships.
  • Providing day to day partnership leverage, public relations, marketing and promotional support to partners.
  • Deliver contracted deliverables associated with corporate and business partnerships.
  • Develop corporate sponsorship proposals.
  • Grow existing corporate and business relationships generating increased income.
  • Assist with media related duties associated with CareFlight services, including occasionally supporting a weekend rotating roster.

About you

The Sponsorship Account Manager will play a key role within our Fundraising team to retain and grow existing corporate business and supporter partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager with experience in sponsorship and partnership marketing to make a difference.

Critical to this role is your ability to develop business proposals, execute partner activations, provide marketing campaign support, compilation of partner reports, and support media related enquires.

The ability to maintain and develop stakeholder relationships is a must, as you will need work with a wide cross section of internal stakeholders such as Doctors, Nurses, Pilots and Engineers as well as being able to maintain and grow existing business relationships.

You will have demonstrable negotiation, time management, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to occasionally work on weekends as required. You will also be required to hold a current driver’s licence.
