We have a rare (and exciting) opportunity for a Community Engagement Officer – Kindergarten (CALD) project, to join our Community and Family Services business unit. You will be joining a highly dedicated and passionate team dedicated to making a difference in our community.
You will play an instrumental role in supporting children from Cultural and Linguistic Diverse (CALD) communities to participate in kindergarten programs as well as supporting children reaching school age to make a positive transition to school.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Family Support your role will include but not limited to:
You will be an agile team player, who is accustomed to dealing with competing priorities. You will have strong advocacy skills and the ability to maintain and build relationships with local, regional refugees, asylum seekers, cultural and linguistic diverse community groups, organisations and service providers in supporting inclusion into kindergarten and transition to school.
