We work with some of the most marginalised people in our community to help get their lives back on track through alcohol and drug counselling, specialised services for youth, and behaviour change programs. We are the state-wide drug and alcohol treatment provider in Victoria’s public prisons, and the Victorian state-wide provider of Youth Justice Programs and Services to the youth justice sector. We also work with employers across Australia to deliver leading workplace wellbeing programs, including Employee Assistance Programs and Critical Incident Response.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Receptionist who is excited about being an integral part of our Corporate Services Team.

Have you previously supported a busy front of house team? Do you pride yourself on your organisational skills and ability to get things done? Can you build rapport with all stakeholders? Do you have a 'can do' attitude and flexible working style? This may be the role for you!

The position

The position is offered as a casual opportunity initially, with the view to permanent part time with the possibility of working three full time days per week. We are looking at candidates who have availability across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

The key purpose of the position is to be the face of the organisation, you will be responsible for maintaining the uttermost corporate and professional standards, meeting and greeting our clients and visitors to our head office, and managing incoming telephone calls.

The Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining strong customer service values in accordance with Caraniche’s organisational values and business practices.

A day in the life of this position might include:

  • Meet, greet and assisting all visitors to coordinate appointments, booking & queries
  • Coordinate client & visitor appointments and bookings for clinicians and staff.
  • Provide administrative support to the corporate service team, as requested.
  • Organise meetings as required, including catering, venue, transport and accommodation to the required support.
  • Ensure stock levels of stationary, groceries and other consumables are maintained
