The Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this position will see you joining a small dedicated team of HR professionals to provide support and Human Resources advice to Canteen employee's. This role will focus on building capability through HR systems and streamlining processes.

In this highly rewarding role you as People & Culture Consultant you will be responsible for providing first line HR Advice and services to employee's including but not limited to: onboarding, recruitment, termination processes and procedures; payroll administration, HRIS administration and development, providing up to date HR policies and procedures & training and development.  

Further accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring all employee data is accurately recorded and maintained in Canteen's HRIS - Employment Hero 
  • Further enhance the use of all HR systems
  • Provide advise on organisational and legislative risk areas that affect employees in areas of WH&S, workers compensation and employment law
  • Provide support to the implementation of the performance development, career and salary review processes
  • Develop and lead HR Reporting Processes

Selection Criteria

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a HR generalist position, ideally with a  systems focus
  • Experience with business process mapping and implementation
  • In depth knowledge of HR organisational policies and practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with proven business writing skills and ability to develop polished presentation materials
  • Relationship management and influencing skills
  • Experience in recruitment and selection using behavioural based interviews
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and ‘Employer of Choice’ practices
  • Business partnering capacity

Location: Sydney, NSW

Job type: Permanent; Full- time

Remuneration: $75,000-$80,000 + Salary Packaging + Super + Great Employee Benefits
