About the role

The Roster Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing employee timecards, scheduling and rostering of nursing and support employees to ensure there is an adequate level of care and support provided to our residents.

The Roster Coordinator will report to the General Manager and provide roster support ensure services meet regulatory and legislative requirements, assist in forecasting employee levels and making adjustments based on needs of residents.

The role will also assist with general administrative tasks including documentation, reporting and customer service.

We are committed to finding the right person for our team and are happy to negotiate start/ finish times and days of work with the successful applicant.

We are currently looking for an experienced Roster Coordinator to join to our team on a permanent part-time basis. Ideally looking for someone to work across 5 days a week, however we are negotiable and offer flexible working arrangements.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated rostering coordination experience
  • Demonstrated administrative and customer service experience
  • Excellent computer skills including proficient operating of MS Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to the philosophy, mission and values of Calvary
  • Demonstrated experience using Kronos (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience in working in the aged care or similar environment (Desirable)
  • Workforce planning experience is a strong advantage
