Crookwell/Taralga Aged Care is dedicated to providing high quality residential aged care services in Crookwell and Taralga and high quality Home Care Services throughout the Upper Lachlan Shire and Goulburn.

The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse who can uphold the exceptional quality of care provided to our residents and be a valuable member of our team of our residential aged care home Viewhaven Lodge in Crookwell.

Requirements

Essential

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse List A with APHRA
• A current National Criminal Record Check compliant with accreditation standards
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Demonstrated interest, compassion and empathy towards the elderly
• Understanding of, and commitment to achieving and maintaining accreditation status and continuous quality improvement principles
• An understanding of and commitment to Work Health Safety and Rehabilitation principles.
• Influenza vaccine
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster at multiple locations
• Current Drivers Licence

Desirable

• Previous experience in a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) and/or 3+ years clinical experience
• Previous experience and knowledge of ACFI and Care Planning
• Post basic qualifications in gerontology or dementia
• A current First Aid Certificate or working towards same
