Camp Quality delivers services and programs free of charge for kids (0-15) and their families at every stage of the cancer experience.

About the role

The Cancer Education Program is an educational Puppet show performed live to audiences across the country. The fun and interactive show delivers age-appropriate cancer education that dispels myths and reduces bullying.

We are looking for a talented casual performer to join a hard-working team responsible for performing the Cancer Education Program to schools, in hospitals, at camps and to our corporate partners throughout Queensland.

Please note that there will be overnight travel required due to regional tours.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Previous professional performance experience.
  • Experience working with children aged 0 -15 years of age.
  • Previous experience within children's theatre and Puppetry training is a plus.

Other requirements for this role:

  • A current drivers licence.
  • Day time availability.
  • The ability to hold and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • The willingness and ability to comply with Camp Quality's Covid-Safe plans.
