About the Role

Are you looking to flex your passion for social media and drive real & measurable impact? The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key role in our Marketing and Communications team, responsible for managing marketing campaigns optimised for brand awareness, engagement, and revenue through creative and innovative digital advertising and social media activity that tells Camp Quality's story across multiple touch points.

The Digital Marketing Specialist lives and breathes social, with a finger on the pulse of what's trending - always seeking out new ways of doing things.The role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the social media strategy with a strong focus on key metrics - they will be results-driven and competent at pivoting campaigns to meet and exceed KPIs. This role is integral to increasing acquisition and fundraising for our campaigns. You will work within a dynamic in-house team, whose skills span digital, PR, design, video editing and brand strategy. This is a role with the scope to grow into a leadership position as your experience deepens.

Qualifications & Training

  • Degree in Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or similar.

Experience & Knowledge

  • 3+ years' experience in a digital marketing/advertising role
  • Experience managing various social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok) with an up-to-date knowledge of best practices
  • Hands-on experience managing digital advertising campaigns (Meta (Facebook) Ads, Google Ads & TikTok Ads) from media, audience and creative planning through to delivery and post-campaign analysis
  • Experience reporting on marketing campaigns using a variety of data sources including Google Analytics
  • A creative approach to engaging audiences and telling stories
  • Experience using Adobe CC
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress

  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to use initiative and be proactive
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Some out of hours work will be required (from time to time) capturing content at events and recreation programs
  • The ability to hold and maintain a current Working With Children Check
  • The willingness and ability to comply with Camp Quality's Covid-Safe plans
  • A desire to develop skills to enable you to lead a team
