At CPL, we all have an important role to play supporting our clients to live the life they choose with passion. Join our Rostering team and you'll play a primary role in ensuring our clients are supported through efficient and complete rosters to enable them to live the life they choose with passion.
These roles require flexibility to work a variety of shifts starting at 5.00am and include weekends, nights (until 10.00pm) and public holidays. Penalty rates apply for after hours and weekend work.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the rostering for all disability support employees across our regions
- Acquiring and maintaining detailed working knowledge of our Enterprise Agreement and other people-related policies and procedures
- Coordinating replacement support resources to cover leave, and other planned/unplanned absences, and report on shift changes, absenteeism and non-compliance
- Communicating shift changes to each region and escalating roster-related people matters
- Establishing and maintaining data in the rostering system for both employees and clients including preferences, availability, contact details, and client medical needs
To be successful you'll have:
- Solid experience in rostering and coordinating a large number of people or managing multiple stakeholders, preferably in a human services environment
- Proven ability to calmly manage complex situations, often while unsupervised, taking into consideration customer service and budget outcomes
- High level attention to detail and accuracy relevant to rostering purposes
- Superior time management and coordination skills to maximise efficiency in a busy and often ambiguous environment of responding to changing requirements
- A participative and supportive team approach
- Skills to use and adapt to new technology (a rostering system) and Microsoft Office
- A continuous improvement commitment
