As a Disability Support Worker at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), you will support our clients to live more independent and inclusive lives. We will provide you with all the training and guidance you will need to thrive.

We currently have casual positions in the Central Coast Region including sites across Long Jetty, Umina and Wyong. You must be willing to travel between all sites. We do not require experience for these positions, but experienced applicants are encouraged to apply.

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

  • Specialist training opportunities
  • Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
  • Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
  • We invest $5,000 in training in your first year

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Building positive relationships with our clients
  • Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

  • NSW Licence P2 or Full required
  • Available 4-5 days
  • Must be willing to travel to Long Jetty, Umina and Wyong.
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccinated
