Do you have a passion to ensuring older people get the services and information they need?

The Office Manager supports the work of the COTA NSW team, delivering services and providing information to older people, and being an effective advocate for older people in NSW.

This is a full-time role and COTA NSW is a flexible workplace.

The organisation

COTA NSW is the peak body representing the needs and interests of the diverse range of older people in NSW.

We are an independent, consumer-based, non-government organisation working to ensure that the voices of older people are heard by politicians, policy makers, service providers and the media.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of older people.

COTA NSW is a small organisation with a big reach. This role supports the work of the team and the Board ensuring that things run smoothly.

This is the key administrative position in the organisation, and has responsibility for internal organisational matters, and support for financial and accounting services.

You will work closely with the CEO and the Board to ensure that all statutory and legal requirements are met, while supporting the team to deliver services.

This role will be based in our CBD office.

Your skills

We need someone with an excellent organisational and time management skills.

You should be experienced in providing secretariat support, as well as bookkeeping and administrative skills.

You will need to be empathetic with good listening skills and be able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
