CODA Disability Support was established in 1989 and is an NDIS registered, not-for-profit organisation that provides Personal Care, In-Home Respite and Community Access supports to adults with a disability who live in the community.
Our office is based in Upper Mount Gravatt; however we provide supports to people in the extended Brisbane area.
We currently have multiple opportunities for Disability Support Workers to join our vibrant, hardworking and committed team on a casual basis, supporting clients on the Brisbane Bayside - with priority vacancies located in Wynnum, QLD.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
- Widespread availability to cover long and short shifts with a commitment to regular shift schedules. We operate 24/7 and will require motivated talent to assist our clients across all shifts patterns. Candidates must be comfortable with sleepover shifts (non-active) with some sleep disturbances throughout the night.
- Experience working as a Disability Support Worker or related field (desirable).
- A passion to support people living with a disability.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and resilience skills.
- Full understanding of professional boundaries.
- Experience in personal care, hoisting clients, managing challenging behaviour, and/or administering medication is preferred.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Card / Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (in line with the QLD Public Health Order applicable to Workers in a Healthcare Setting)
- Access to your own phone and email/internet
- Current QLD Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current (or an ability to obtain) Manual Handling Competency
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (or related field). Nursing students are encouraged to apply.
