CHIA Vic is looking for an enthusiastic and creative communications professional to grow awareness and support for social housing in Victoria.

This role will design and deliver digital content to engage and expand audiences across CHIA Vic’s digital communication channels and support the delivery of CHIA Vic’s communications strategy.

ABOUT US

The Community Housing Industry Association Victoria (CHIA Vic) is the peak body representing not-for-profit community housing organisations in this state.  

CHIA Vic’s role is to advocate on behalf of members to government and other relevant bodies and provide advice, resources, and training to the community housing sector. Community housing in Victoria is provided by a large and diverse range of not-for-profit organisations. These organisations own and manage over 20,000 tenancies in Victoria across the regulated and independent sectors.

This position is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of CHIA Vic’s digital communications. The position will develop and implement a digital communications strategy in line with CHIA Vic’s communications strategy. The digital communications strategy will engage a range of audiences across platforms to increase awareness and improve the recognition and reputation of the community housing sector in line with the vision and mission of CHIA Vic.
