An opportunity for a talented and dedicated Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Financial Accountant and key stakeholders across the business. In this role you will be working closely with accounts payable and receivable teams, will be the go-to person from a processing point of view, assisting the financial accountant with end of month tasks and assist with annual audit as requested by the financial accountant and the senior managers of the finance team.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for accounting procedures for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account reconciliations, fixed assets maintenance, general finance support, system maintenance, assistance with end of month and yearend tasks and reports for Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ).
This a Fixed-term full-time contract for 12 month working 37.5 hours per week.
