The Cancer Information and Support Services Division aims to empower and support people affected by cancer, so that no one need face cancer alone. This Division assists people as they navigate cancer, easing their emotional and practical burdens and helping them make informed decisions.
The Cancer Information Team produces printed, online, podcast and video resources for people with cancer, their families, carers and friends, including the national Understanding Cancer series of booklets and fact sheets and The Thing About Cancer podcasts. The team also provides editorial and design services to other areas within the division.
The role of Publishing Editor works to ensure that people affected by cancer have access to up-to-date, credible, evidence-based information. This role researches, reviews, writes, edits and proofreads printed and digital information for people with cancer, their families and carers.
