About the team

The IT unit supports CCNSW's strategic ambition by harnessing innovative technologies and best practices to help build a future ready and sustainable organisation. It aims to become a business partner and provide competitive advantage in areas that grow our impact, increases financial sustainability, and decreases risks.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the IT Applications Manager is responsible for managing and enhancing the business applications that enable the operational requirements and strategic objectives of CCNSW. Working alongside the Product Owner, the IT Applications Manager serves as the subject matter expert on business applications and software development practices, maximizing the value and capabilities of the IT resources at CCNSW.

About you

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of experience in management of IT application development teams
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery outcomes with offshore vendors
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft technology stack - .Net, C#, MS SQL, Dynamics 365, Power BI
  • Experience with JQuery, Javascript and Integration Platforms
  • Experience in Solution Architecture and IT asset lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodology
  • Business acumen, strategic thinking ability, and up-to-date knowledge of the IT industry
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
