An exciting part time opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to join a non-profit community services Neighbourhood Centre north of Cairns, Queensland.

Your Exciting, New Role

Reporting to the Management Committee, the role provides a challenging opportunity to oversee the day to day operation of the Centre and to lead and motivate the team in delivering a first class service.

The Skills You Bring

• You have demonstrated Management experience in a similar environment and have worked with Management Committees
• You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Human Services, Social Work, Community Welfare, Community Development)
• Great communication is the key in this role and you can communicate effectively with communities, organisations and government agencies
• You have outstanding time management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• You will be leading teams to achieve positive outcomes in coordination with agreed budgets
• You have a passion for community program planning and development at an organisational level
• You have proven success in securing external funding for community projects and programs
• Obviously, you are organised, a self-starter and can work with limited direction and supervision
