- Permanent Part Time - 30 hours per week (hours negotiable either across 4 or 5 days)
The purpose of this position is to provide administration support for the CBCHS volunteer team, under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator. Working as part of a team, this role will ensure the effective delivery of administrative services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the advertising, recruitment, training, orientation and exiting of volunteers by undertaking appropriate administrative and compliance functions in accordance with CBCHS and CVS guidelines
- Provide support to the Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteer Officer for all volunteer events and engagement initiatives
- Ensure that the volunteer database is accurate, updated and maintained in a timely manner
- Prepare relevant reports from the volunteer database as required
- Provide high level administrative support to the CBCHS volunteer program
- Ensure all volunteers have current police checks and associated paperwork is on each individual file
- Attend and actively participate in meetings as required
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated administrative experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with volunteers and other stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare written correspondence
- Sound computer skills, in particular knowledge of Microsoft Office and a client management system
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve deliverables
- Ability to work flexibly on a range of tasks and adjust to and prioritise as required
