We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team at BHN as a Triage Clinician. In this non-client-facing and non-crisis response position, you will contribute to our organization's mission by ensuring prompt and effective first-call resolution for community members with complex needs and presentations.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • A professional qualification in post-secondary qualifications in social work, mental health, counselling, AOD, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience in complex triage, demonstrating the ability to effectively conduct comprehensive needs & risk assessments, advocacy. Plan appropriate response and referral prioritization using Trauma Informed Practice and client-centered approach utilizing client record management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, engage, and negotiate with a diverse range of community members, multidisciplinary professionals and organisations across community and clinical services.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite for accurate documentation, communication, and efficient service delivery. Willingness to adapt and embrace new software and technologies to improve operational efficiency flexibly and quickly.
  • A clear understanding of applying an intersectional lens taking a perspective that considers people's overlapping attributes such as racism, class oppression, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, or ableism.
