Better Health Network has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Oral Health Therapist (OHT) Level 2 with a passion to help and educate the community to improve their oral health.
Joining our friendly welcoming community dental team, the Oral Health Therapist works alongside other dentists, OHT’s, dental therapists, prosthetists and dental assistants to provide high quality, efficient and effective dental services, including preventative care and emergency services, to eligible patients within the community.
Multiple positions available at Bentleigh East on a permanent full time or part time basis. You will work 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday with no late nights or weekend work required. This role works in outreach services within the Smile Squad program and provides in-house clinical care. The Oral Health Therapist (OHT) Level 2 is responsible for the provision of clinical duties within the scope of the Dental Practice Board of Australia’s Code of Practice for Oral Health Therapists.
Our team has a focus in delivering better oral health for the local community, making a real difference to our patient’s lives. BHN Dental Service consists of a longstanding team of 80 staff members across 4 sites. Some of our dental teams have been working with the local community for over 25 years. With a wealth of knowledge, support and mentoring to pass on, whether you are a new graduate or experienced.
The purpose of this position is to provide dental services to eligible clients both in a clinical setting and outreach services as part of the Smile Squad Program.
