Job Overview

The Blue Datto Foundation is a NSW-based registered charity that delivers an award-winning road safety education program for young people. Through innovative education our Keeping Safe program aims to empower young people with practical skills and knowledge to reduce their risk as a young driver or passenger, saving lives and preventing injuries. Experiencing rapid growth, in 2019 Blue Datto is aiming to deliver programs to more than 10,000 participants.

The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Foundation. To succeed you will need to be a confident communicator with a strong customer service focus, capable of liaising with teachers, program facilitators, young people and sponsors on any given day.

This role is varied and no two days will look the same, however key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing, maintaining and tracking relationships with schools and community contacts
  • Planning and coordinating programs and related activities
  • Coordinating Program Facilitators and providing them with support to achieve best-practice program outcomes
  • Responding to program enquiries and advocating for Blue Datto and its programs
  • Ensuring databases and systems are accurate and up to date
  • Tracking and reporting on the Foundation’s programs with consideration of targets, budgets and resources
  • Working with the Blue Datto team and community to identify partnership, growth and business development opportunities.

Selection Criteria

Essential Criteria

Excellent communicator, comfortable with liaising with teachers and educators, young people and existing and potential sponsors.

  • Proven coordination and administration experience requiring a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise and problem solve in order to meet deadlines and KPIs within budget.
  • Proven ability to work independently and contribute effectively as a team member.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • A passion for the improved well-being of young people, the wider community and for making the roads a safer place.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in education and/ or program delivery.
  • Experience in the Not for Profit sector.
  • High level computer literacy across MS Office suite and CRM programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications in a related discipline and / or demonstrated experience in a similar role will be highly regarded. You will be required to have or obtain a Working with Children Check and should have a clean driving record.

Permanent Full Time however flexible for the right candidate

Salary negotiable depending on level of experience and availability.
