We’re searching for a part-time office assistant to help our Bells Beach office to feel bright, beautiful and organised. We need you to handle the daily housekeeping tasks, keeping a keen eye out for ways to make things even better. With your approachable nature and nurturing spirit, you will be the go-to for everyone in the office. If you can’t help them, you will know exactly in which direction to point them. When not helping our people, you’ll be sorting our incoming and outgoing mail, greeting visitors, purchasing office supplies and organising office maintenance. Social events are also an important part of life at Bellroy so you’ll also be making sure these are set up and our crew have a great time.
You love to get things organised, sorted and looking great as part of creating a positive experience for the people you work with. As a design-led business, our office is an extension of our brand, and you care about making and keeping it beautiful - it also brings you genuine satisfaction . You notice little things that are messy, need to be reorganised or are just not as awesome as they could be, and you fix them before anyone has had the chance to notice.
This is a part-time role (10 hours to start with scope to increase) based in our Jan Juc Office with travel once a month to our Melbourne Office. Hours are flexible but we would love if you are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays (as our social events tend to fall on these days). This is the kind of role that can fit in around university study or school pickups.
Bellroy’s mission is to inspire better ways to carry; use business as a force for good; and help the world – and our crew – flourish. We make great carry products that delight people in their everyday lives, while constantly innovating to improve the sustainability of our materials. We help our staff love their work and grow as people and have been recognized as Australia’s Best Place to Work 2021, in the "< 100 Employees" category.
We’re proud to be part of the B Corp movement – a group of certified companies using the power of business to help solve social and environmental issues. And we reckon, with your caring nature, that’s probably a big deal for you, too.
We select our materials based on a balance of functionality, durability and their ability to age gracefully. We are also committed to making them environmentally sustainable – using fabrics made from recycled and plant-derived materials, and sourcing leathers with the least environmental impact.
