Beaumont People are excited to be partnering with a leading community services organisation best known for their outstanding community support for CALD communities in South-Eastern Sydney.
Advance Diversity Services (ADS) is a dynamic, community-focused organisation, dedicated to providing crucial support to individuals from Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD) within the South-East Sydney region, notably in the St George and Sutherland areas. ADS pertain an unwavering commitment to assist and advocate for members of these communities, with a special emphasis on recent arrivals, refugees, families, women, and seniors.
Their overarching objective is to empower community members by providing the necessary tools and resources to harness their full potential, thereby enhancing their access to the wealth of social and economic opportunities found in the Australian community.
The team leader will oversee the coordination of the newly created Care Finder program. The program aims to target harder to access groups in the community who are 65 years + and who are unlikely to engage with the system due to barriers such as language, cognitive decline, or a reluctance to deal with the government systems. This will likely include people who have been homeless, experienced DV, or have ongoing mental health or AOD concerns.
