Co - founded in 2005 by Jane McGrath and her cricketing husband Glenn, the McGrath Foundation aims to both raise money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, while at the same time educating young women about the importance of being breast aware. One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85 but not all of them will be fortunate enough to have access to a breast care nurse. The McGrath Foundation's vision is to ensure every family in Australia experiencing breast cancer has access to care and support and that the community has the highest level of breast awareness and knowledge.

Role

This high-performing, busy and growing Corporate Partnerships team are looking for an organised, personable, driven and team focused individual to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will be the team's right hand responsible for assisting with the portfolio of corporate partnerships and providing all round administrative support. You will work closely with both the partnerships and McGrath's broader team to assist in delivering high quality partnership opportunities, workplace giving, partnered events and branded campaigns. There is scope for growth and is your opportunity to develop into account managing for this highly regarded charity brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a team of three with the day to day relationships of existing and prospective corporate partners
  • Reporting on partnership data, while updating and maintaining the database system
  • Facilitating research on partnership prospects
  • Drafting and developing correspondence to donors and partners
  • Updating the website and fundraising pages
  • Scheduling and arranging meetings
  • Providing support to major campaigns
  • Coordinating events
  • Answering enquiries and nurturing prospective corporate partner relationships
  • Raising invoices and general financial administration
  • General office administration as required

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales/fundraising support role, ideally within the charity sector
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
  • Proactive, diligent, accountable and solutions focussed
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent knowledge of databases/CRMs and social media platforms
  • Great organisation and time management skills
  • A positive, solution oriented attitude through change and new challenges
