Australian Red Cross is an internationally established movement, bringing people and communities together domestically and internationally in times of hardship while building on community strengths. As humanitarians, Australian Red Cross put people first, listening to, understanding, and respecting each other.
As the Fundraising Lead - Single Giving and Emergency Appeals, you will be working as a member of the direct marketing team to strategically create and implement critical fundraising campaigns during times of crisis.
Working in close collaboration with the Fundraising Program Manager and internal and external stakeholders, this role will be responsible for driving emergency fundraising activities, including Australian and international crisis appeals and a portfolio of always-on emergency funds. This will provide a platform that supports and enables Australian Red Cross to be more effective at mobilising emergency funds. These campaigns are time sensitive and require an individual to be creative, data-driven and highly organised to coordinate and work within a complex team structure to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
This role will also provide wider support to the team on yearly appeals and campaigns to drive the acquisition of new supporters, retention of existing supporters and upgrade/cross-sell of existing supporters. This role will also ensure that supporters feel appropriately thanked, supported, and acknowledged through their journey with Red Cross.
