Our client has invested in this new and exciting role to work as part of the high performing Fundraising Team and very closely with the IT and Technology Team, to create excellent business processes and system capabilities to ensure the donor experience exceeds expectations.

This role is a key position in the Fundraising leadership team, and is responsible for the definition and successful implementation and adoption of a new Fundraising CRM system critical to the Fundraising operations. It is an exciting time to join the team as they are undertaking the process of selecting a state of the art CRM solution and this person will be the mouthpiece between Fundraising and IT to implement and embed the CRM.

Drawing on your deep knowledge of Fundraising and CRM implementations, the role will be required to define and guide the execution of a detailed project vision and CRM product roadmap. As the Fundraising Subject Matter Expert, you will act as primary liaison between business, technology and vendor stakeholders, ensuring that the CRM solution is fit for purpose and will generate significant return.

The PERSON

The role is suited for someone who has Fundraising expertise, is well-versed in stakeholder management, and has had their share of participating in the delivery of complex technology projects.

We will consider candidates with a background working in Management roles within Individual/Regular Giving, Supporter Services and Database Management, provided they have a keen interest in the detail, system capabilities, implementation projects, and are able to clearly define the project purpose and translate their knowledge and experience to key stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to translate fundraising operational needs and processes that helps to optimise system design, performance, and adoption
  • Extensive experience working in or directly with a large Individual giving fundraising programme
  • Experience in consulting and negotiating with a diverse set of stakeholders across all organisational levels
  • A proven track record of advocating for the business to support the delivery of impactful fundraising and supporter engagement solutions
  • Significant contribution to the successful delivery and adoption of a new CRM system
