Life Education Australia (LEA), is the largest non-government provider of health education to children, in schools, Australia wide. They are a not-for-profit whose mission is to empower children and young people to make safer and healthier choices through education.

Working with over 650,000 children in schools across Australia every year, the core purpose of Life Education is to build the capability of young people by challenging their values and attitudes, expanding their knowledge and developing their skills to empower them to lead a safer and healthier life. Supported by the lovable mascot Healthy Harold they have reached over 5 million students since 1979.

Due to an internal move and having previously engaged digital specialists to build and develop a new website and parents Hub section, LEA are looking for an autonomous Digital Marketing Manager to join their small team. Reporting to the National Manager, Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing their digital communication strategy coordinating all digital communications that come from Life Education nationally.

With your can-do attitude your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Further development of the Life Education website
  • Management and reporting of all national digital communications
  • Day to day management of LE Website & Parent Hub and Social media
  • Writing and editing of digital content
  • Management of quarterly newsletters
  • Digital PR including online and social marketing
  • Campaign & partner digital support
  • Ensure strong relationships are built with all stakeholders & team members to drive and promote the importance of engaging content for the digital channels.

To hit the ground running we are seeking a candidate with:

  • A few years’ experience in a digital / marketing / advertising role
  • Experience in using design & multimedia software
  • Experience in interpreting & analysing analytics reports
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and advertising
  • Confident digital copy writer with a great attention to detail
  • Ability to operate website content management systems & social media
  • Ability to be creative and to implement ideas
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects; prioritise and meet varying deadlines
  • Confidence working autonomously.
