Work with an inspiring charity to secure long-term sustainable corporate and philanthropic partnerships. Key Areas of the Role:

As the Corporate Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing new corporate partners, sponsorships, and Trusts & Foundations to support our charitable programmes and significant public events. You will also be involved in:

  • Nurturing and expanding an existing portfolio of sponsors, with a strategic emphasis on cultivating robust relationships that drive sustained growth and continuity of support.
  • Crafting well-researched proposals, applications, and communication materials tailored to resonate with prospective partners, sponsors, and grant funders.
  • Utilising your commercial mindset to identify revenue opportunities to sustain the execution of the strategic mission.
  • Overseeing the management of corporate data and documentation within the Raisers Edge database, facilitating the generation of indispensable reports.
  • Orchestrating the seamless execution of sponsorship deliverables for events, orchestrating collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Creating post-event impact reports for sponsors, curating data collection and gratitude initiatives.

About you:

To succeed in this role you will be a driven corporate partnerships professional, with a drive for business development and relationship building. You will also have;

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in business development and a history of achieving revenue targets in corporate or philanthropic fundraising.
  • Proficiency in sales and negotiation, complemented by a history of securing partnerships and funding through persuasive and compelling proposal presentations.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills tailored for the construction of compelling proposals and grant applications.
  • A history of thriving in cross-functional collaborations with a diverse spectrum of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to adeptly manage multiple projects, maintaining unwavering precision throughout.
  • Ability to represent the organisation at external events beyond standard working hours, including sporadic evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in leveraging databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence.
