Bear Cottage Children's hospice is situated in Manly, NSW and care for children with life limiting conditions and their families in a holistic home like environment. Bereavement care is also provided. Bear Cottage is a stand- alone facility within the Sydney Children's Hospital Network.

The team at Bear Cottage are supported by over 100 Volunteers who assist in all areas of the operation. This dedicated group of individuals work with a strong pride and passion ensuring families are provided with the high level of support they deserve. Our Volunteers won the NSW Volunteer team of the year in 2023.

The Volunteer Manager is responsible for the overall management of this team including recruitment, education, training and support all within the guidelines of NSW Health.

We require an individual who can work enthusiastically within our multidisciplinary team, has strong management and leadership skills, flexibility and a desire to lead our Volunteers to a personal best. A knowledge of Volunteer programs is desirable. The position is 32 hrs/ week.
