- Competitive Salary: Band 7 - $108,190 p.a. + 11% superannuation
- Location: Council Office in Sandringham, with the flexibility to undertake some work from home

About the Role:
Reporting to the Home Care Packages Coordinator you will lead, guide, coach and support a skilled and motivated high-functioning team of care managers who have manageable caseloads and work in the local Bayside area.
You will provide professional advice and support to staff in response to complex care situations and management of client budgets.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating as a central point of contact to care management staff for professional and operational advice.
- Ensuring clients receive a flexible and individualised response within the parameters of policies, procedures, and the Home Care Packages program manual.
- Overseeing the development and adherence to client budgets within funding parameters and guidelines.
- Pro-actively working with and supporting team members to meet their administrative requirements.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies
- Tertiary qualification in a health, allied health or social science discipline.
- Minimum two years’ care manager leadership experience, including management of care budgets.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues facing people who are facing challenges with ageing and wishing to remain at home and within their community.
- Experience in delivery of person-centred practices and complex care management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant aged care legislation and community services and supports for the ageing and consumer directed care.
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
- Be fully vaccinated with at least two approved COVID-19 vaccines or have proof of medical exemption, in accordance with Council's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
