POSITION SUMMARY

The Design & Development Team (D&D Team) is a high-performance project team structured with specialised roles mapped to a design process. The team’s projects are varied in complexity, often directly tied to external funding or internally driven to meet the dynamic needs of young people. D&D projects aim to, but are not limited to, achieving a direct positive impact on young people and their communities.

The Implementation Lead will play an essential role in shepherding the D&D Team’s work into program delivery and processes. They will be an excellent communicator and planner and be able to preempt barriers to implementing programs and content before they happen. They will work to generate implementation plans for each D&D project and be the key point of contact with relevant internal teams for a collaborative and successful implementation. They will be responsible for ensuring our program content and resources are uploaded, stored and built into batyr’s current systems in a logical and timely manner.

They will ensure that relevant batyr teams have the resources and knowledge needed to design staff training and stakeholder communications to roll out new programs and content. In line with the D&D Team’s focus on innovation and participatory design practices, they will supervise the team’s process for booking targeted content prototyping and program piloting sessions with external stakeholders. They will be the team’s key contact for any external stakeholders where there is a need to train on how to use or implement content or resources we have developed for them.

The Implementation Lead will support the ‘Impact Evaluation Lead’ in implementing any new impact measurement and reporting processes and include training of Programs and Delivery teams in using new programs’ measurement processes as part of the project implementation plans.

The Implementation Lead will play an important role in preparing and submitting project reports and will be required to add reflections and recommendations on the process for team learning and stakeholder management purposes.
