About your new role:

• Servicing Merredin, Narembeen, Corrigen & Bruce Rock | Part-Time position
• You must have flexibility from Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am – 4 pm to fit in with customer needs

As a Care Worker you will enable our clients to live their best life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities like (but not limited to):

• Domestic duties (cleaning, laundry, cooking, vacuuming, changing bed linen, mopping, and anything in-between)
• Social support and transport (doctors’ appointments, shopping, general community access support, and companionship)
• Personal care (showering, bathing, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and medications amongst other support requirements in line with the care plan)
• Working with each client to continue to do the things they love

What about you:

• Valid WA Driver’s Licence, reliable motor vehicle, and proof of vehicle registration – Essential
• Willingness to obtain or provide proof of comprehensive car insurance – Essential
• Experience and/or transferrable skills providing compassionate care to the elderly
• Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one via Baptistcare at no cost to you
• Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work different shifts across Monday to Sunday
• Passionate about Customer Service
• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Willingness to obtain or provide proof of up-to-date Influenza & Covid 19 Vaccinations
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
