Banyule Community Health seeks to employ a highly motivated and experienced leader to play a key role working alongside the Executive Team. The Strategy & Impact Lead is a new role reflecting significant transformation occurring in our sector.

You will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of organisational purpose and will establish strong systems and processes to lead. The new role will collaborate closely with the Executive to design and lead strategy, partnerships, and opportunities that align with our purpose.

The role will play a key role in supporting Banyule Community Health to:

  • Develop strategy for quality health and social care services
  • Build better evaluation and measurement systems
  • Foster purpose driven growth
  • Support and identify innovation opportunities
  • Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support a high functioning strategic Executive Team that is aligned to the purpose and values of the organisation

Your motivation, interpersonal skills, and expertise will see you excel in this role as you:

  • Demonstrate skills to build effective working relationships and negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate ability to analyse, assess and stretch capability to meet new opportunities
  • Demonstrate ability to drive tender and submission writing processes
  • Reflect your knowledge of the health and social service sector, and the current transformation taking place

What you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as health, community development, social policy, or administration
  • Experience as a Senior Manager / Leader with strategy and people leadership focus
  • Experience in leading successful innovation and change management projects that have led to improved community and/or organisational outcomes
  • Experience in providing reports and presentations at the Board level
