We are currently looking for an energetic person with previous experience in a call centre environment to assist our clients through the appointment scheduling process with BreastScreen Victoria at our Carlton office.

About the role:

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday during business hours. As a Contact Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for eligible Victorian’s and required to provide the best possible service to our clients as they participate in our screening program. Responsibilities include:

  • Answer inbound calls from women who wish to book a screening appointment with BreastScreen Victoria.
  • Undertake outbound calls encouraging clients to re-screen every 2 years.
  • Respond to a range of client enquiries through phone calls, emails and other communication channels.
  • Provide support to online booking clients.
  • Undertake clinic cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process various administrative tasks associated with the booking process
  • Participate in a mailroom roster to process incoming and outgoing mail.

About you:

You will have previous experience working in a Contact Centre and be able to successfully demonstrate strong understanding of first class customer service principles and the desire to make each conversation with our client’s a positive experience.

You will also have:

  • Good computer literacy including MS Office knowledge and good typing speed.
  • Understanding of key Call Centre measures.
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
  • Active listening skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A patient and friendly telephone manner.
