We’re looking for a professional Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with relevant experience who wants to join our team of 1500 employees and 1000 volunteers to make a difference, working flexible hours per week based in Frankston.

THE ROLE

The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse coordinates and provides professional and quality care to consumers who come into the centre for overnight respite care. The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse works as part of a team to provide care in a manner that fulfils the Brotherhood’s duty of care, legal and professional practice requirements. 

  • Deliver a high standard of nursing care and support, consistent with policy, procedures and best practice guidelines whilst adhering to the principles of privacy and confidentiality.
  • In consultation with the Program Coordinator, develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans based on the principles of good dementia care.
  • Assist with the management of complex care needs e.g., wound management, PEG Feeds as required.

Salary will be $31.185 to $32.307 per hour for casuals plus 25% casual loading OR in the range of $60,761.17 to $62,776.72 pro rata per annum for part-time, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA with medication endorsement.
  • Proven experience in providing care, including overnight care, to clients and working with frail aged people and their carers, people with changed behaviours and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Sound understanding of the ageing process and dementia, ethical client practice including confidentiality.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, solving routine issues as they arise and as an effective team member to achieve outcomes.
  • Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to adapt to changing demands, plan workload, priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Highly-developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Programs.
