About the role

Are you passionate about working with children and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth? Join our friendly and professional team at Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) as a casual Educator! We are seeking individuals who bring life experience in sports, art, music, drama, craft, coaching, or teaching to enhance the children's learning experiences.

Multiple casual positions are available, with up to 75 hours per fortnight, in our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. There are a variety of opportunities, including before and after school care, holiday (vacation care), and ample room for career advancement within CRCS.

A typical day will see you working with the team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children who attend our services. This involves implementing a variety of activities and programs, setting up indoor and outdoor equipment, handling cleaning and food preparation, and providing considerate supervision of children.

Working with children requires excellent people skills, high energy levels, and patience. Each day, you will support our team in offering high-quality play-based care and gain satisfaction from assisting the children in mastering new skills while ensuring they enjoy their time and actively participate in activities.

At CRCS, we value your input and encourage creativity in our centre. Whether you have OSHC, teaching, or coaching experience, or are currently studying, we welcome you. We value people and provide a supportive environment for you to achieve and grow your skills. We will support your career growth through comprehensive learning and development programs.

Join our team and make a positive impact on local children's lives. Bring your skills, whether in sports, art, craft, writing, or drama, and gain future qualifications while being embraced by our professional and friendly team. Experience a workplace that values your growth and success.

If this resonates with you, we look forward to hearing from you!
