Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation.
We provide information and support to those diagnosed and their supporters, opportunities to connect with others going through a similar situation and work to influence a stronger healthcare system to ensure all Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
BCNA was born out of a small group of determined women who wanted to make the breast cancer journey better. In 1998, when Lyn Swinburne founded BCNA, her vision was for no one to feel alone through their experience of breast cancer. In 2023, that vision still remains our priority.
This year over 20,000 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer, including 200 men. Sadly, we will also lose about 3,000 people to the disease.
Over the past 25 years, we have built a strong and resilient network that brings together over 175,000 individuals. We are led by the lived experience of those who have already been diagnosed and we are driven every day to make the experience better for those who will be diagnosed tomorrow.
BCNA is represented by the Pink Lady silhouette – symbolic of BCNA’s focus on the people affected by breast cancer and all those around them, not the disease.
We are seeking a change leader who has experience in digital transformations and understands how to support business leaders to drive and embed changes through effective communication and engagement activities. This role requires someone hands-on, proactive and collaborative, is comfortable speaking up when things aren't going to plan and can influence key stakeholders through effective risk mitigation strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an important digital upgrade that will have a direct and positive impact on Australians affected by breast cancer by improving the accessibility and relevance of web-based content.
This role is Full-Time 37.5 hours Fixed-Term until 30 June 2024, (we would consider 30 hours per week if preferred).

BCNA is an employer of equal opportunity and encourages and values diversity and inclusion. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold a valid visa with unlimited working rights suitable for an ongoing role and will be subject to successfully completing a National Police History Check.
