The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Advisor – Registration (Process Specialist) the Regulatory Advisor – Registration (Process Specialist) is responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of procedural documentation and provide operational advice to registration teams and other stakeholders. You will quickly become a subject matter expert across the full range of application, registration, and registrant management processes with a focus on Ahpra’s values and high performance.
The position will work closely with multiple departments to ensure high quality outcomes for registration procedures that align with the Regulatory Principles for the National Scheme, the National Law, registration standards, and guidelines. You will support the integration of best practice registration processes into national organisation policies and processes. This role will contribute to the development of policy and systems and support initiatives and projects to successfully execute registration work program activities.
