Northern River are looking for an amazing new team member to join their resource team

The Assistant Coordinator role supports the daily operations of the Northern River Resource Team and is responsible for identifying recruitment needs, organising field staff by interest and availability, and work closely with Service Coordinators and Team Facilitators.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with customers to meet their needs
  • Coordinating rosters and schedules of support
  • Organising supports at short notice
  • Receiving, directing and managing communications
  • Assisting with Support Worker time sheets
  • Meeting strict deadline
  • Working collaboratively with all teams

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience in scheduling or rostering preferably in Community Services
  • High level organisational and multitasking skills with ability to work autonomously
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills

Hours of work will be Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5pm must also have flexibility to cover annual leave and sick leave.

In return, you will receive a salary of $54,700 per annum pro rata plus 9.5% superannuation with the option of salary packaging up to $18,550.
