The Organisation:

Australian Childhood Trauma group specialises in childhood trauma and attachment, we provide support services to government and non-government agencies, schools and individuals. Due to increased activity we are looking for a Psychologist to join our team. You will report directly to the Clinical Services Lead.

The Position:

The Psychologist will play a key role in providing assessment services and support for clients in out of home care, disability, mental health and education within Australia’s childhood trauma arena.

The Candidate:

Essential to this exciting opportunity will be your exposure to the following;

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the workforce in the fields of health, disability, education or social services
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent professional organisation as a Social Worker
  • Ability to conduct assessments
  • Excellent formal report writing skills
  • Counselling experience

Desired:

  • Supervisory experience and qualifications.

In addition, you will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check and undergo a Criminal Records Check. It is also essential that you have a current Driver’s licence.
