As Manager, Big Rivers you are responsible for the effective leadership and management of child protection work units across the Big Rivers Region.

You provide leadership, motivation and support to staff within the designated program area to achieve outcomes and ensure the implementation of corporate requirements, such as accurate and timely data collection, and performance management. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective collaborative partnerships and strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful, you require an Australian tertiary qualification, eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body and extensive post-graduate experience in the delivery of statutory welfare services. Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, well-developed knowledge and understanding of human resources and financial legislation and policy frameworks, relevant to statutory welfare practice is essential.

In addition, you will have demonstrated high-level communication skills, a willingness to travel remotely and the ability to work constructively within a culturally diverse setting.
