Remote / Work from Home
Do you want to be part of an incredible company and know that you’re making a difference every single day?
The Atlassian Foundation is looking for a Governance & Grants Manager working remotely in Australia for 30.4 hours per week (4 days) for 9 months' maternity leave cover, starting in June to February.
Our team has set goals to see change within our lifetime. We can’t do it without this role, an experienced compliance and governance professional with high ethical standards who work diligently to complete their duties, keeping in mind the objectives of the Foundation!
The successful candidate will possess a real passion for all things philanthropy and have a proven record of facilitating corporate governance processes. We are on the lookout for someone with an excellent ability to prioritise, forward plan, take ownership, join the dots and see the bigger picture. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, in-depth knowledge of reporting procedures along with phenomenal attention to detail.
The Foundation has fourteen members from all over the world – Australia, USA, India and the Philippines.
We believe we have a responsibility to seek disadvantage both locally (the communities where we work) and globally. We also believe in the transformational power of both education and business as forces for good. Our team has three pillars:
“EDUCATE”
Our focus is to empower youth from low-income communities to build the skills necessary to thrive in the 21st century.
“ENLIST”
We bring out the best of business, by building the Pledge 1% movement.
“ENERGISE”
We want to see every Atlassian “energised” to make a difference in their local communities during their time at Atlassian. To do this, we empower each Atlassian with volunteering leave to make an impact
Whether you work in an office or a distributed team, Atlassian is highly collaborative and yes, fun! To support you at work (and play) we offer some fantastic perks: ample time off to relax and recharge, flexible working options, five paid volunteer days a year for your favourite cause, an annual allowance to support your learning & growth, unique ShipIt days, a company paid trip after five years and lots more.
Creating software that empowers everyone from small startups to the who’s who of tech is why we’re here. We build tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello to help teams across the world become more nimble, creative, and aligned—collaboration is the heart of every product we dream of at Atlassian. From Amsterdam and Austin, to Sydney and San Francisco, we’re looking for people who want to write the future and who believe that we can accomplish so much more together than apart. At Atlassian, we’re committed to an environment where everyone has the autonomy and freedom to thrive, as well as the support of like-minded colleagues who are motivated by a common goal to: Unleash the potential of every team.
We believe that the unique contributions of all Atlassians is the driver of our success. To make sure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone's perspectives and experience we never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.
